We tried to film a little from the race this weekend and here is a little film from Fredriks team from the start.

This weekend we were at SPHKīs winterrace in Lekvattnet.
On the road to the start it was lots of ice and big hills so it was not easy for us to come there with our car. But after some help we were there and then it was lots of stress to be ready before start.
This time we had two teems in the 4 dogs class and the start was very close between us and the last time it was in the same class it was a big problem because the dogs wanted to wait for their pack. Unfortunately it was the same problems this time. On the training itīs not any problems at all but in competition the dogs just want to wait on each other and looking after each other. And that is not so good on a race then...
But we have to learn something now - donīt start two teems in the same class....
We had Silas borrowed this weekend to be in the team and we say thanks Benita for letting us borrow Silas, he is like always very easy to have.
So it was not the best races for us when the dogs wanted to wait but they still passed the sledtests. The dogs pages are updated with the sledtests.

Then the last update after our holiday. You find a lot of sledding pictures and so under gallery 6.
As you can see of the pictures the weather was very good and we enjoyed this a lot and dogs were working great. I think they also were happy to see snow after all mud here at home.

Some new pictures of Faina that we took in the snow on the holiday. You find them under earlier litters, Sira - Faina. Then two pictures here to the right on Faina and one to the left on Fenyia.
Faina and Fenyia played a lot in the snow of course and here comes some pictures of them...

It was a long time since updating last time but we have been on a holiday, visiting the snow and then the time is not enough yet, but here comes a start and more will come soon...

Finally a little snow has started to come on some places around. The snow do us, both dogs and human very happy. Here is two pictures of Freyia, trying to catch the snow....

Even if this homepage is about our dogs and other Snötroll so today I have to let you know a little about our visit...
Today we were visiting the wolves in Kolmården. It was great to see, pet and cuddle with the wolves.
 
To the left a curious wolf and to the right a wolf that wanted to be pet.
 
More wolf pictures. It was 8 males in the pack and they were 2,5 years old and so wonderful.

We try to train even if the temperatures not is so good here- to high. So now we just hope for better temperatures so the training can be better.
The camera is not with us so often during the training but last weekend it was one pictures of one of the teams. It comes here.
In front of the team its Fenni of leach. Then itīs Aniuk and Sorba in the lead and then Tanisha and Kiska in wheel. The other dogs was in Fredriks team and no pictures of them.

This weekend it was Swedish Championship on Dryland and for the first time we went there to start.
It was unfortunetelly very hot this weekend so it was not the best for polardogs and the starting list was not the best for polardogs in the larger teams either. On saturday we had start 14.15 and on sunday around 12 o clock so it was very hot, but the dogs did there best.
Fredik started with dogs from our team. It was Sorba, Soraya, Kerak and Tritze in his team and they did so well so after two days they had a GOLD medal to come home with- Hurray!!
Linda went with two dogs from us - Tanisha and Kiska. Aniuk and Aneira was unfortunentelly a couple of days to young so they were not allowed to start. So she borrowed Silas - that have been with us several times before and then she also borrowed Cookie and she is pretty new on this.
Cookie probobly did her best but she was little scared of things around her so it was little to much for her sometimes. But she did what she could and we had a great weekend.
I say thanks to Benita and Ann that I could borrow their dogs so I also got a chance to start with a team and go in the funny but pretty tough trails.
